Dr. Ethan Schuman, D.M.D
Dr. Ethan J. Schuman began his career at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
Dr. Ethan Schuman founded his general dentistry in 1985 where his main focus was to emphasize that the main goal of his office is to provide a relaxed comfortable environment, with a family atmosphere while at the same time offering the highest quality and standards of a technology driven, State of the Art Dental Facility.
He has combined his knowledge and ability to perform a wide variety of procedures to patients of all ages from infants to seniors, with the knowledge of an established periodontist, Dr. Allison Zaromb, DMD. who has a vast knowledge of her Specialty, with an office team of friendly, caring, proffessional individuals that give his office a family atmosphere where patients can feel confident as well as comfortable during their visit.
Dr. Schuman and Dr. Zaromb along with their office team strive to communicate to patients that the heart of their service is to promote overall long term dental health. Which is an important goal since the Lack of oral hygeine has now been linked to heart disease and stroke as well has proven to influence /affect dental issues that are found more frequently and serious in patients who suffer from Diabetes.
Dr. Schuman has been featured in the print and broadcast media in St. Louis, Missouri, for his expertise in cosmetic dental restorations as well as his work with anxious patients.
He has co-authored a treatment program for the reduction of dental phobia and anxiety. In addition, Dr. Schuman serves as a consultant to numerous nursing and retirement centers across the country and frequently lectures on the topic of dentistry for seniors and the institutionalized.
Dr. Schuman, his wife Debby and their children have lived in St. Louis for over 20 years. He is also an avid music enthusiast and relaxes by playing guitar and piano. Dr. Schuman is onstaff at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center and teaches at Webster University.
Dr. Allison Zaromb, D.M.D., D.A.B.P.
Dr. Allison Zaromb realized early that her chosen career path in dentistry suited her well. She grew up with an intense intrest in Science, along with a neverending intrest in Biology.
Because a Periodontists main focus isn’t just on the mouth alone, Dr. Zaromb knows she also has the potential to change a patients overall health and life for the better, this gives her chosen specialty a purpose that extends beyond just a career that helps her provide for her family.
Following completion of a degree , “Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude” from The University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Zaromb went on to attend the University of Medicene and Dentistry of New Jersey, to become a UMON Scholar.
She gained knowledge from world renowned doctors in the specialty fields of implant dentistry and Periodontics while attending New York University.
Dr. Zaromb holds knowledge beyond the requirements of the American Board of Periodontistry of which she is a certified member, as well as a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and has also been in the Journal of Periodontology.
When Dr. Zaromb has free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and four young sons, which explains her family focused approach to each patients treatment.
Dr. Schuman and Dr. Zaromb strive to bring their vast knowledge and compassion to every patient that visits the Schuman Dental Center.
